Check out Addie! This little lady came to hang out with me for a bit as one of her first big adventures out with the family. I loved getting to meet her and her older brothers too. These two were so sweet with her and I know they’ve got her back for life.
Isn’t she just the sweetest thing?!?!
Today I get to show off Evan’s senior portraits along with his album design! Albums are by far one of my favorite products since we get to show off so many of your favorite images in one place. Plus, the custom-designs make them extra fun for me to create.
For Evan’s session we spent a little time in studio to create some classic looks including his yearbook portrait and then we headed to a few places downtown to create both some urban looks and found a bit of nature as well!

Today I get to share a dear long-time client’s family with you guys! This gorgeous couple started out with me with their engagement and wedding portraits and I was honored to be there as their family grew to welcome their first adorable little man. But before ‘C’ turned one these guys relocated to Arkansas and though they made the trek back a couple times to finish out his milestone sessions that first year it was understandably time to find a local photographer once ‘K’ was on the way.
I was so excited when Maggi said they were expecting again but sad to know that practically it would be another photographer who would be there along the first year this time around. BUT I got my excitement back when Maggi emailed to ask if I’d design an album for them to showcase their first year images of ‘K’ like I’d done for ‘C’. Well of course!! I just finished up the design this week and it was great to see the boys grow up through these images! ‘C’ is THREE now guys, I’m pretty sure it was just yesterday he was in the studio on that saddle!

As we warm up a bit more this week and get a little glimpse at the coming spring I thought it would be a great day to show off a spring wedding! I had the honor to be a part of Heather & Cody’s big day and what an absolutely perfect and beautiful day it was. With a peacock color scheme this was anything but a dull wedding. It was bright, colorful, fun and full of so much love.
One of my favorite parts of Heather & Cody’s big day was their first ‘not’ look! You all may know I LOVE the first look part of the day. Why? Because it’s a moment for just the two of you. One where we slow things down (which can be a big contrast to what can often be a hectic wedding day). We carve out a few minutes for just you two, alone, to say hello. It’s a moment that’s always charged with energy and excitement, often tears, and lots of love. But even when a couple chooses to save that big first look for the aisle we can still give you a moment to connect without actually seeing each other. For Heather & Cody we created that moment at the train station, where Heather got to walk down the staircase to her groom, give him a hug and even hold his hand without ever revealing her bridal look.
Their reception showed off the peacock theme perfectly. Look how vibrant those colors are and how stunning and original are those cakes!

Today is Micaela’s day in the spotlight! She’s a class of 2017 senior at Eisenhower High School and was so fun to photograph. With that stunning hair and striking features she rocked her session and I loved every image!
As a bookworm myself I was thrilled with Micaela showed up with her book collection and we found a couple ways to work them into her session both downtown for an urban look and at Rock Springs for a bit more natural setting (and just check out those eyes!!!).
