Are you guys ready to see two absolutely adorable little boys and their family?!?! I’m so excited that it’s time to share the Burn’s family portraits with you. Dana won one of our auction packages recently and she was so excited for some sunset portraits and though clouds literally rained on our parade the first day we had her set we were able to get her in one a beautiful evening at the Scovill Zoo.

O.M.G. I am absolutely in LOVE with the Nash Family’s Session! Not only did they invite me once again to photograph at their beautiful home and family land (with this amazing old barn) but we had perfect weather AND even included a spunky little piglet in the most adorable red wagon. Like what is not to love about all this?!?!
You might remember Rebekah’s senior session this year (if not, you can take a look at some of her images in our senior model post and our album design post). I think the time around senior year is the perfect time for family portraits before seniors leave the nest and set out on their own and change the dynamic of your home! This is sort of the last year they are under your wing in your home before embarking on their own lives.
We couldn’t let Jake get away without a little solo time to strut his stuff in front of the camera too!
And the best news of all…. I LOVE this pine tree lane SO much that we are planning our November fall/Christmas family Limited Edition sessions right there!!! How about red antique couch, adorable blankets and maybe even some Christmas ornaments hanging in those trees!?!?! It’s going to be awesome (but space will be limited, so we are already booking NOW). Everything came together perfectly for Katlyn’s recent senior session. When she came in for her consult we were all a little nervous about if we’d be able to pull off matching her school/work schedule with what I had available and get her a session scheduled within a week so we could have images in time for her graduation but the stars aligned! Not only did she have a day off school and work that I had open but we were even able to coordinate hair and makeup that day too all within just a few days time and the weather turned out great too!!
And, not only did I get to feature Katlyn but we worked in her man and her momma too! I love when I get to show off the relationships that are important in our senior’s lives right now. (This is the reason we’ve added a special BFF session event for our seniors this May!!).

Check out this lovely WLHS senior, Erica! I wanted to go with something classic and something NEW for both her studio and outdoor looks so we pulled out a beautiful classy marble backdrop and then played with some fun new lighting with my ring light. Then out on location decided to shoot a little late and created a few images after dark for a unique look again!

This year (well ok, last year) I did something brand new for Sarah Jane Photography! I hosted a one-day mini session event for Christmas portraits at the studio. Since it was the first event we had just a few available spaces and I’m so excited about the beautiful families and little ones we hosted.
