Today I’m excited to show off some of Katie’s favorite images from her senior session! She was such a sweetheart and I had a blast photographing her in the studio this month. I met Katie and her sister at last year’s Neuhoff Media’s Lady Palooza where they both jumped in and pre-booked Katie’s senior session and her sister’s family session (coming up this fall). I just love it when new clients love the work and we click right away (one of my favorite parts of those shopping nights is chatting with new people!!).
| Abby F | Senior Class of 2017 | Central A & M High School |
I’m so excited to share Abby’s senior portraits with you!!! She is an absolute sweetheart and has been so fun to work with. One of her first experiences with SJP was literally being a part of our parachute dress with Kayle. Pretty much EVERY shot with Kayle in her pink Terani Couture dress had Abby UNDER the dress holding her up or fluffing it out. She was a HUGE help and 100% on board to jumping in to be hands on! (You can see more of her model images and the parachute shoot HERE).
I was so excited to get to Abby’s time in the spotlight and she was a blast to photograph. We wanted something personal to her so not only did we highlight a bit of who she was (great athlete & FFA gal) in the studio but we also highlighted a bit of her family story by photographing part of her session at her grandparent’s house with their Forlines Farms semi!!! (Plus a bunny!! Seriously fun session guys!).

Aren’t they gorgeous! I spent last Saturday with the lovely Warrensburg-Latham High School students all dolled up for PROM!
Amber | Senior Class of 2014 | Decatur IL
We are right in the heat of senior portrait season for the class of 2015 and before we officially kick off the 2014-2015 school year (in like a month… AHHH) I wanted to let the class of 2014 have a little more time in the spotlight.
To start with, here’s Amber (Mt. Zion High School Senior, class of 2014)… If you follow me on instagram you may remember this from Amber’s session:
As you can see we got a little (a LOT) wet on her session when a sudden monsoon hit when we were in the middle of a downtown alley. The rain really snuck up on us and though we tried to wait it out we soon realized there was no way to not get wet (soaked) so we’d have to reschedule the rest of her session… but before we called it a day I asked Amber if she’d be up for just going for it and getting totally soaked for a few images. She didn’t even hesitate to say yes and the images we created ended up being some of their favorites.
Check out some of the senior pictures we created for Amber this summer:
| Zach | Warrensburg-Latham Senior 2014 | Sarah Jane Photography |
I LOVED Zach’s senior session, which we did completely on location at Warrensburg-Latham High School. What better way to commemorate high school senior portraits than to have them AT the high school?! Zach is very involved with his school, and very talented as you can see… he’s appeared in numerous plays and musicals for his school and others and he plays the clarinet (just like I did for a bit in high school) for the school’s marching band.
We had a gorgeous day and a lovely sunset which was the perfect way to finish the session. Only for just a bit did we think we had terrible planning and that there might be a track meat scheduled that we didn’t know about, but luckily the hoards of buses that pulled into the school parking lot as we started the session were full of volleyball girls (whew).
Well, be sure to head over to the Sarah Jane Photography Facebook Page to view Zach’s gallery and be sure to give him a few LIKES so we can post more images.
