I love how creative we get to be when clients book our Couture session! This session is 5 hours long and if that sounds like a LOT it’s because it is, but it means we get to do so much without worrying about time… lots of locations, lots of outfits, even lots of people!

And we got all that in for Allie’s session. By far my favorite part of Allie’s session is the personalization she added by selecting locations like her old home that really made it about HER. Plus, including her best friends, sister, mom and dog meant we had a blast with all her favorite people!

Her album is being hand crafted in Italy as we speak and I cannot wait to have the finished product in soon. Take a look at some of our favorite images and a few album designs too…

Rachel was so much fun to photograph. We started here in the studio then ventured out to downtown for a little bit of the city feel before finishing up the session at the always beautiful Allerton Park. You all know I love traipsing all over town (and even out of town) to create images for my clients, but not every senior (especially senior guy) is super stoked to have their portrait taken four hours … shocker I know! But it’s for this reason that I offer mini sessions and our quick and easy ‘Simple’ senior session. This option worked perfectly for Connor and we were able to quickly and easily create a variety of images right here in the studio! This means senior was happy (that we were fast) and mom was happy (that we created a variety of looks to capture this time in Connor’s life).

Check out this lovely WLHS senior, Erica! I wanted to go with something classic and something NEW for both her studio and outdoor looks so we pulled out a beautiful classy marble backdrop and then played with some fun new lighting with my ring light. Then out on location decided to shoot a little late and created a few images after dark for a unique look again!
